Put Spot to Work

SafetyCulture put university students and professional engineers to the test. We asked them to unleash their inner innovator for a chance to win a share of $5,000 in prizes, plus a Boston Dynamics Spot robot. The most innovative idea for how Spot could revolutionise the workplace would win.
The competition closed on 24th November 2024.

The challenge

We’re inviting university students and professional engineers to pitch your game-changing ideas of how Spot could boost efficiency, safety, and productivity in a work environment.

Think outside the box—no idea is too wild! Whether it’s automating dangerous tasks, scanning environments beyond human scale, or bringing AI-powered agility to emergency services, Spot is ready to be put to work, and we want to see what you would do with a four-legged robot.

Submit a video pitch that details your concept for Spot’s workplace application. Be creative, be bold, and show us why your idea stands out from the crowd.
