SRM Work Area Inspection - Overburden Department
As per SRM SOP Workplace Inspection, there is a requirement for Department Managers (or their delegates in periods of absence), to ensure that areas where activities are taking place or are planned to take place are inspected for safety of operations. Department Managers (or their delegates in periods of absence), must inspect all areas within their area of responsibility at least every two weeks (including active areas, idle areas and adjacent work areas that may impact on operating areas).
