Record maximum hot water temperature after 1 minute (50 C) and cold water after 2 minutes (less than 20 C). Confirm TMV or mixer tap temperatures are within specification, flush low-usage outlets, and inspect valves, pipework, and thermostats. If fitted, flush and drain expansion vessels and vent air. Check for dead legs and perform heater element insulation tests to earth. Capture defects and observations, site details, dates, and signatures to maintain compliant water systems.
