Weekly Legionella Checks Checklist

Use this weekly Legionella checks checklist to carry out routine water hygiene controls in line with L8 risk assessment measures. Tasks include flushing all taps and showers, recording hot and cold water temperatures, and confirming weekly outlet usage across the site. Target thresholds: cold water below 20°C after 2 minutes of running and hot water above 50°C after 1 minute. Capture any nonconforming items with photos, assign corrective actions, and document site address, dates, locations, and the responsible person’s name. Sections cover downstairs and upstairs outlets, including kitchens, toilets, showers, and a final sign-off with signature to support ongoing building water hygiene compliance.
