Light Vehicle Inspection LDV Checklist
by Barry Labuschagne, from the Community
This light vehicle inspection LDV checklist helps drivers and fleet teams perform a thorough walk around and cabin check before use. Verify the operation and condition of front and rear lights, indicators, hazard lights, windows and windscreen, wipers, seats and seat belts, handbrake, service brakes, tires and spare, bodywork and bumpers, dash and cabin lights, engine oil, coolant, and washer fluid. Visually check wheel nuts, the cooling fan and belt tension, engine bay for faults, mirrors, and handheld fire suppression. Capture photos and notes to standardize fleet safety checks.
