Use this LS185 safety officer checklist to complete pre event inspections for stadiums and arenas. Confirm control room readiness including PAVA, CCTV, fire alarms and communications. Check that egress routes are clear and signed, hazards are addressed across seating bowls, concourses, lifts and escalators and hospitality areas. Review external concourses, segregation gates and fencing, bridges, ticketing and concessions. Inspect lower ground operations including pitch gates, players tunnel, buggy routes and service roads, grounds store, production kitchen, press lounge, media centre, entrances, car parks and corridors to ensure the venue is safe for opening.
