This Fire Safety Officer checklist supports pre-event and in-event venue inspections. Verify EWIS status, isolate and communicate with the chief warden, and confirm fire installations are online. Inspect access and egress paths, exits, exit stairwells, illuminated signage, WIP phones, sprinklers, hydrants, and fire pillows across event level, arena bowl, concourses, suites, club and media levels, plant areas, and catwalk. Check control room readiness, radio channels, booster systems, and warden kits. Record incidents with names of those involved and witnesses, track area notes and attachments, and sign off when all safety breaches are cleared and the venue all-clear is given.
