This Fire Safety Officer checklist helps venue and event operators perform thorough pre and post event safety inspections. It covers EWIS status and isolations, communication with the chief warden, clearing safety breaches, and granting venue all clear. Area checks span event level, arena bowl, concourses, suites, kitchens, backstage, yards, and exterior. Inspect exit paths and doors, stairwells, hydrants, extinguishers, hose reels, illuminated exit signs, WIP phones, overhead sprinklers, VESDA, fire pillows, storage, plant, electrical and comms rooms. Verify sprinkler valve rooms, fire pump room, and boosters. Confirm warden, reunion, lost person, and public communications kits. Log incidents with details and complete audit sign off.
