Monthly Legionella Temperature Checks

This monthly checklist helps facilities teams record water outlet temperatures and control Legionella risk across buildings. It guides competent persons to flush infrequently used outlets, check calorifier flow and return temperatures, verify hot water at or above 50 deg C and cold water at or below 20 deg C, and inspect TMVs, tanks, and loops. The guidance includes weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks, sentinel point measurements, and maintenance steps to support safe operation and compliance.
