Monthly Spa Legionella Temperature Checks
by LME Estate Director, from the Community
Use this checklist to record hot, cold and blended water outlet temperatures across spa facilities to control Legionella risk. Follow guidance to run outlets, measure with a thermometer, and capture readings as Safe or At Risk. The form covers men’s and ladies’ changing rooms, treatment rooms, gym, poolside showers and taps, kitchens, plant room outlets and water storage tanks. It includes target temperatures for cold at or below 20 Celsius, hot at or above 50 Celsius, and blended between 41 and 43 Celsius. Add site details, date, preparer and a competent person signature, and keep a consistent monthly log for compliance and water safety.
