This checklist helps workers verify the condition of full body harnesses and lanyards before use. Record site details and inspector information, confirm labels are attached and legible, and capture manufacture dates, serials, and model numbers for both harness and lanyard. Inspect hardware including buckles, D-rings, back pad, and loop keepers for damage, deformation, sharp edges, burrs, cracks, and corrosion. Assess webbing and stitching for frays, cuts, broken fibers, tears, abrasions, mold, and burns. If any defect is found, remove the equipment from service. Includes sign off for traceability and compliance with work at height safety.
