BAPKO Metal Fall Protection Equipment Inspection

This checklist supports routine inspection of fall protection equipment used for work at heights. Record harness details including label legibility, date of manufacture, serial, lot, and model. Assess hardware for damage, distortion, sharp edges, burrs, cracks, and corrosion. Examine webbing for cuts, frays, broken fibers and stitches, tears, abrasions, mold, and burns. Capture lanyard make and identifiers, evaluate condition, and document overall results. If defects are found, remove from service and destroy. Includes inspector signature.
