Daily Plant Inspection for Telescopic Handler
by JON HILLYARD, from the Community
This daily plant inspection checklist for telescopic handlers guides operators through walkaround and functional checks. Inspect tyres and wheel nuts, boom pins, hydraulic hoses and rams, attachments, glazing, lights, fire suppression, and fluid levels. In the cab, verify seat and seatbelt operation, the presence of the operator manual and load chart, visibility, and door security. After startup, test lights, horn, beacons, reversing camera and alarm, wipers, hydraulics, steering, and brakes. Record defects and sign off to confirm safe use.
