This daily telescopic handler inspection checklist guides operators through key safety and maintenance checks before use. Record machine identification and hours, then complete a walkaround covering tyres, wheel nuts, steps and handrails, pins and steering rams, boom, hydraulic hoses and rams, attachment security and condition, glazing, mirrors and lights, cosmetic damage, greasing, and fire extinguisher or suppression. Check engine and fluid levels including oil, hydraulics, fuel, coolant, Ad Blue and transmission, plus filters, radiators and belts, and the battery isolator. In cab, verify seat, seatbelt, operator manual, visibility and door. Conduct functional tests for lights, horn, beacons, reversing camera and bleeper, wipers, hydraulics, steering and brakes. Note defects, determine if the machine is safe to use, and sign off.
