Fleet Manager Bi-Annual Vehicle Inspection Report
by Michael Knappenberger, from the Community
Use this bi-annual fleet vehicle inspection checklist to document driver details, VIN, mileage, and plate information while assessing roadworthiness and compliance. Inspect tire pressure and tread wear, check for leaks and oil levels, record last oil change, and verify horns, wipers, mirrors, headlamps, brake lights, and backup camera. Review body condition and cleanliness, ladder racks and ladders, and confirm proper labeling and secure storage of materials. Verify safety gear including first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and PPE. Conduct a brief road test covering brakes, alignment, emergency brake, steering, and seat belts. Capture overall condition and obtain driver and manager signatures for accountability and maintenance planning.
