This daily lorry pre-start checklist helps drivers and site operatives verify vehicle safety before use. It covers exterior condition and load security; fluid levels for fuel, oil, coolant, and brakes; tyre condition and wheel fixings; cab checks including seatbelts, mirrors, windows, horn, handbrake, pedals, warning lights, and comfort controls; washer and wiper operation; lights and audible or visual warnings such as reverse alarms and beacons; and emissions.
