Facilities Contracting Assessment Checklist

Use this facilities contracting assessment to evaluate building systems including HVAC and rooftop units, boilers, pumps, VAV controls, control systems, exhaust fans, water heaters and miscellaneous equipment. Capture unit details such as manufacturer, model, serial, voltage and installation year, assess component condition including coils, actuators, sensors and filters, review controls integration options such as BACnet, Lon or bridge, and document site measurements. Record issues like leaks, drafts, hot and cold spots and maintenance history, then prioritize replacements or upgrades. Includes checks for curb clearances, safety devices, reheat types, static pressure, loading dock items and a final signature.
