Record primary circuit type and maximum primary flow temperature, incoming static cold water pressure, strainer cleaning, water hardness and scale reduction, thermostat setpoint, maximum hot water flow rate, solar compatibility, nearest outlet temperature, and pipe insulation. For unvented systems, log location and setting of the pressure reducing valve, test temperature and pressure relief and expansion valves, verify tundish and discharge pipework comply with Part G, confirm energy source cut-out devices, and check expansion vessel or air gap. For thermal stores, note achievable store and maximum hot water temperatures.
