This template provides a full service and safety audit for gym and fitness equipment including treadmills, bikes, steppers, cross trainers, rowers, pin-loaded machines, racks, benches, and accessories. Inspect general condition, collect equipment statistics, clean motor bays and covers, verify running belt alignment and tension, check motor drive belts, rollers, power cords, stop functions, and anti-static cords, and lubricate belts, decks, guide bars, pivots, and attachments. Measure current draw, perform general cleaning and polishing, and verify console displays and hand grips. Test equipment under low, medium, and high loads; assess bearings and internal workings; service alternators/generators and brushes; check drive belts and heart rate devices; tighten loose bolts with Loctite; and inspect upholstery, frames, welds, and accessories. Use this checklist to document findings and maintain safety and compliance across fitness facilities.
