Combined Workplace H&S Fire Risk Assessment
by James Capper, from the Community
This combined workplace health and safety and fire risk assessment template helps organizations evaluate premises, people, and processes for compliance and safety. It covers H&S management, COSHH, manual handling, DSE, lone working, first aid, accidents, lifts, internal and external environments, welfare, structure, and waste. The fire risk section aligns with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005, including building use, occupants, construction, electrical safety, smoking, HVAC, kitchens, arson risk, detection and alarms, firefighting equipment, means of escape, signage, emergency lighting, testing and maintenance, evacuation, and staff training. It concludes with a risk rating and an improvement plan to track corrective actions and priorities.
