Fire Risk Assessment for Domestic Properties
by Garry Mcmillan, from the Community
This Fire Risk Assessment template helps landlords, property managers, and assessors evaluate fire hazards and controls in residential buildings. It covers building information, occupants at risk, ignition sources, housekeeping, electrical and heating systems, means of escape, compartmentation, escape lighting, signage, alarms, extinguishers, and smoke control. It also guides the management of fire safety, including emergency planning, training, drills, testing, maintenance, and record keeping, aligned with the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005. Use it to document findings, assign actions, and maintain a comprehensive fire safety log.
