Downloads: 0

This 5S audit checklist is designed for automotive paint operations in Area 6. It covers housekeeping and safety essentials including removal of unused tools and parts, current paperwork and signage, slip and trip hazard checks, and accessibility of exits, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, spill kits, and emergency stops. Inspect storage of scrap and non‑conforming materials, condition and use of racks, bins, and cabinets, and organization of computers, printers, scanners, and cabling. Verify fans are clean, lighting is sufficient, electrical panels have 3-foot clearance, floors and areas under conveyors are clean, and painted surfaces, walls, and columns are maintained. Confirm stations are identified with standard signage, movable items are shadowboxed, labels and Kanban tags match contents, and End of Shift 5S Expectations are posted.
