Chrysler Assembly 5S Audit Front Assembly and Mounting
by Nick Martin, from the Community
This 5S audit template supports Chrysler front assembly and mounting areas with a practical checklist to sustain lean manufacturing. It covers exit routes and signage, minimum and maximum inventory adherence, removal of unused tools and parts, organization of racks, bins, and cabinets, and proper setup of shadowboards. The audit verifies cable and wiring management for computers, printers, and scanners, clean fans and light fixtures, clear electrical panels with 3 feet clearance, adequate lighting, waste segregation and removal, and clean floors including under conveyors. It checks mutilation protection, painted surface condition, walls and columns, and identification of work cells and stations with standard signage. Visual controls such as min max levels, kanban and sequence labels are reviewed, along with washroom cleanliness and overall slip or trip hazard elimination.
