This cafe inspection checklist guides a quick, 10-minute walkthrough of both front-of-house and back-of-house before lunch service. Verify PPE use, clear fire exits and aisles, and general safety. Check cleanliness and organization of dry storage, walk-in and reach-in coolers, freezers, grill stations, pastry areas, buffets, dishwashers, and retail space. Confirm materials are properly segregated with correct date codes, and that staff are cleaning as they go and practicing hand washing. Review prep and delivery status, track labor against plan, record waste on Waste Watch, and escalate any issues promptly to keep service running smoothly.
