This hospitality inspection checklist helps hotels and restaurants audit kitchen and bar operations for safe and consistent service. It guides teams to verify HACCP documentation, confirm staff hold valid food handling licenses, and assess cleaning standards. Inspect wash hand basins for hot water, soap, towels, and signage. Check temperatures for units and ensure fridge and freezer door seals are in good condition. Review fridge and freezer organization, product coverage, and date labeling. Confirm foot operated waste bins are clean and closed, and that floors, walls, and ceilings are maintained. Verify first aid boxes are fully stocked with blue plasters and that fire equipment is serviced, accessible, and visible. Assess air conditioning units for cleanliness and performance. In the bar and seating areas, review ice machine condition and storage of the ice scoop in sanitised water alongside all other hygiene and safety controls.
