Use this weekly safety and health inspection checklist to maintain compliant food service operations across cafeterias, snack bars, and culinary areas. Verify cold and hot storage temperatures, labeling, hygiene, and dishwashing practices. Confirm food and nonfood contact surfaces are clean, ventilation is adequate, pests are controlled, and waste is managed. Check restrooms, handwashing stations, GFCIs, electrical panels, and general housekeeping. Review life safety items including emergency and exit lighting, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, exit signage, and egress maps. Document deficiencies and route work orders to the Safety Officer.
