Manager on Duty Hotel Operations Checklist
by Slamet Riyadi, from the Community
This Manager on Duty hotel operations checklist guides duty managers through each shift. It covers shift handover, reviewing prior reports, and visiting front office and every operating department. Walk public areas and facilities including entrances, lobby, elevators, toilets, handwashing and sanitizer stations, corridors, stairwells, meeting rooms, spa, pool, gym, playground, parking, and signage. Conduct random room checks for amenities and equipment, verify music, lighting, scent, internet, and cleanliness in lobby, restaurants and bars. Audit check-in and check-out service, manage queues, and engage guests. Inspect BOH areas such as hallways, loading dock, laundry, staff lockers, cafeteria, and service lifts. Coordinate with loss prevention, report defects to engineering, and ensure incidents are closed before handover to the next MOD.
