This closing shift checklist helps bar staff complete end of day duties consistently. Tasks include cleaning beer taps and trays, the espresso machine and grinder, wiping bar counters, sinks and mats, organizing and refrigerating homemade ingredients, checking and covering fresh fruit and mixers, verifying stock and house pours, cleaning fridge surfaces, and washing towels. Use this bar closing tasks checklist to close the bar or cafe safely and consistently. It covers a PM daily log, stock check and restocking fridges, cleaning fridge doors, melting ice and sanitizing the ice well, washing milk jugs, cleaning the grinder and surrounding area, cleaning the jug rinser, soaking brass plates and screens from group heads in espresso cleaner, and detailing the espresso machine including under the drip tray.
