This DHR Sonic Mystery Shop checklist helps evaluate the full guest experience at a Sonic drive-in. Use it to record lot traffic and timing from greeting to order, assess order taker etiquette (name mention, branded greeting, suggestive selling, order repeat, thank you, and total), and capture items ordered. Inspect delivery of food, including carhop uniform standards, urgency or skating, friendliness, name introduction, condiments offered, receipt provided, and check-back within 10 minutes. Rate food quality (temperature, freshness, order accuracy, drink labeling, spill-free cups, and included napkins, straws, utensils, and mints). Review overall appearance such as trash-free lot, sidewalk condition, clean menu boards, and bathroom cleanliness and stock. Add comments to highlight issues and opportunities to improve guest satisfaction.
