This restaurant mini audit checklist helps managers quickly review front and back of house standards. Inspect perimeter, windows, open sign and music, guest area cleanliness, stocked toppings and sauces, and hot side equipment. Confirm sharp clean knives and taste proteins. Check uniforms, handwashing, glove changes, and guest greetings. Time three orders for speed and consistency. Record temperature logs and verify hot and cold holding. Test knowledge of specials and FIFO. Verify hot cabinet backups, sanitizer ppm, POS sanitation, presence of a certified food handler, responses to online reviews, and gather guest feedback.
