This weekly van inspection checklist is designed for electrical jointers and field utility crews. Inspect vehicle mileage and condition, lights, tyres, exterior, number plates, fluid levels, windscreen and wipers, and check for warning lights or unusual noises. Confirm fuel card and receipt handling. Verify essential PPE and safety gear, including goggles, visor, ear defenders, arc flash workwear, first aid and eyewash kits, fire extinguisher, spill and burns kits. Check specialist equipment and calibration details for Cat and Genny, multifunction testers, MIT 1020/2, test lamps, proving unit, tester scope, and related tools. Ensure insulated hand tools and power tools (battery cutter, impact wrench, drill, recip saw) are present and safe. Record issues and additional notes for follow-up.
