FSJC Classroom Inspection Checklist

Use this FSJC Classroom Inspection Checklist to evaluate key classroom safety and facility standards. Review fire protection devices such as smoke detectors, pull stations, strobes, fire extinguishers, and emergency and exit lights. Verify carbon monoxide detectors where applicable, electrical outlets and panels, proper labeling, and that panels are accessible and not blocked. Check exits and posted exit plans, SDS binder access and current index, safe chemical storage and labeling, and the proper use of extension cords and surge protectors. Identify trip hazards, damage to walls, ceilings, and floors, and confirm doors and hardware function. Assess cleanliness, trash management, storage of cleaning supplies, HVAC vents, floor coverings, outside areas, and completion of the daily sanitizing log. Includes yes, no, not applicable, and not reviewed response codes and sign off.
