Use this incoming equipment inspection checklist to assess the condition of heavy machinery on arrival. Record report details, GPS location, make and model, and meter readings. Perform a walk around to check leaks, glass, body damage, tires or tracks, lights, mirrors, ladders, decals, belts, hoses, hydraulics, and battery. Verify fluid levels. Complete a cab operational check including gauges, controls, brakes, steering, alarms, HVAC, electrical, and shutdown. Inspect attachments and capture photos. Confirm manuals, spill kits, and regulatory inspections. Sign off by operator and foreman.
