Heavy Equipment Daily Pre Use Inspection
by Brandon McCurry, from the Community
This daily heavy equipment pre use inspection template helps operators confirm readiness and safety before starting work. The checklist covers operator authorization, equipment identification, cab operational checks (seatbelts, gauges, controls, brakes, horn, steering), walk around items (leaks, damage, tires or tracks, lights, mirrors, ladders, decals), attachment condition, fluid levels (engine oil, hydraulics, coolant, fuel), and documentation. Capture comments, note deficiencies with photos, and sign off with operator and safety representative signatures.
