Record equipment type, make, model, and hours; confirm operator training and authorization; inspect cab components including gauges, controls, brakes, steering, safety devices, and emergency shutdown; perform a 360-degree walk-around for leaks, damage, tires or tracks, decals, ladders and grab rails, lights, mirrors, and fire extinguisher; check fluid levels for engine oil, transmission, hydraulics, coolant, fuel, and lubricants; attach photos of defects and capture operator and safety representative signatures.

Use this incoming equipment inspection checklist to assess the condition of heavy machinery on arrival. Record report details, GPS location, make and model, and meter readings.
