This daily Decontamination Unit (DCU) inspection checklist supports asbestos and hazardous materials remediation teams. Record site details and verify the unit is clean, level, and correctly sited. Confirm waste removal, earth tests, circuit breaker function, drainage or dirty-water drum connection, and clean-water supply. Check gas and boiler operation, NPU and heating performance, hygiene supplies, door operation, mirrors, and signage. Ensure all certificates are current, the clearance air test is displayed, and a serviceable CO monitor is fitted. Note faults and confirm remedies with supervisor sign-off.
