by Tony Church, from the Community
This daily inspection checklist helps crews assess decontamination units used on construction and asbestos removal sites. It covers dirty, shower, and clean compartments including NPUs, pre filters, doors, ventilation, plumbing, electrics, heating, and fittings. Exterior checks include structure, drains and pipework, waste water filtration, support legs, wheels and tyres, towing and electrical connections, generator, water boiler, gas bottle and feeder pipe, and hand brake system. It also records test certificates for air clearance, DOP, gas, and electrical. Faults must be reported to the Asbestos Manager.
