Offhire Survey Checklist

Onhire and Offhire Inspection Checklist
This onhire and offhire inspection checklist is designed for mining and heavy equipment transfers. It covers safety compliance and certifications, access and cab condition, electrical and lighting, cooling and air conditioning, engine and fuel systems, transmission and driveline, hydraulics, articulation and axles, brakes, steering, suspension, chassis, tyres and rims, body or tray, buckets and blades, rippers, booms, track frames, and excavator components. Sections also address water carts, attachments, and EWPs. Record serial numbers, measurements, defects, and maintenance needs, attach photos, and capture approvals and signatures to confirm asset condition before and after hire.

Use this Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) Report checklist to assess ISO tanks and cryogenic vessels before dispatch. Review outer vessel and frame condition, paintwork, welding, fork pockets, earthing points, and pipework. Verify drip trays, relief valves and tags, valves and end caps, gauges and pressures, and travelling valve position. Confirm orientation of non-return and relief valves, instrument manifold setup, and brass elbows for Cryofleet tanks. Check data plates (DNV/EN, ADR/RID/IMO, CSC, ASME, PED), decals, weights, capacity, schematic, and filling ratio. Ensure tie-down stickers, BIC codes, document holder, cabinet, manway, and rubber lining are in place. Capture signatures and rework acknowledgments.
