MI-Jack Combi Lift Daily Inspection Checklist
by Aaron Steeneck, from the Community
This daily inspection checklist is designed for MI-Jack and Combi Lift equipment used in material handling and intermodal operations. It guides operators to verify tire condition, fluid levels, and hydraulic and engine leaks; confirm a fire extinguisher with a valid tag; and check nameplates, lights, warning indicators, battery, seatbelts, mirrors, horn, steering, parking brake, and forward/reverse movement. Rigging components are reviewed, including slings and shackles, with ID tags and condition checks. Any failed item requires a photo for documentation, supporting safety, compliance, and proactive maintenance.
