Use this daily forklift inspection form to verify operational controls, emergency stop, brakes, levers, foot controls, safety signs and load charts, boom and forks, and hydraulic systems. Inspect extension cylinders and chains, pivot pins, electrical lines, and vertical mast parts. Check the base for broken or loose components; confirm lights, mirrors, windows, seat belt and mounts, tires and outriggers, backup alarm, horn, and manual are in good order. Review engine compartment items including oil and fuel levels, belts and hoses, battery and electrical condition. Record defects, add notes and photos, sign and date, and notify the foreman immediately of any issues.
