Use the Pro-MEC Forklift Inspection Form to complete daily operational and visual assessments before use. Inspect operating controls, emergency stop and brakes, levers and foot controls, safety signs and load charts, boom and forks, and check for hydraulic leaks. Review extension cylinders and chains, pivot pins, electrical lines, and mast sliding and rolling parts. Visually confirm base integrity, lights, mirrors and windows, seat belt and mounts, tires and outriggers, and backup alarm, horn and manual. In the engine compartment verify oil and fuel levels, belts, hoses and motor condition, plus battery and electrical. Record defects, attach photos for leaks, sign and date, and notify the foreman of any issues.
