Retirement Homes Estates Management Inspection
by Chris Murphy, from the Community
Use this inspection report to assess retirement home estate developments and communal facilities. Sections cover electrical meter readings, contracted duties, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, residents lounge, underground car parks, stairwells and lifts, and external features including lighting, drainage, roofs, gutters, signage, and pest control. The checklist also reviews house manager offices, security and CCTV, heating and water systems, PAT testing, and record keeping. A proactive maintenance program spans tree surveys, internal and external redecoration, paving upgrades, drainage clean outs, LED lighting upgrades, re-roofing, door replacements, and CCTV installation.
