Raptis Investments Annual Tenancy Inspection Checklist
by Tom Clapham, from the Community
This annual tenancy inspection checklist helps shopping centre and retail property teams evaluate the condition of leased premises. Review store entry and shopfront, internal fitout, lighting, floors, joinery, ceilings, internal signage, and general cleanliness. Capture back of house notes, record compliance issues, and verify requirements for food court retailers such as exhaust hood cleaning and pest control. Document required lessor and lessee works, outline scope across walls, floors, ceilings, lighting, shopfront, signage, joinery, and graphics, and set deadlines for completion. Conclude with general comments, inspector name, signature, date and time, and a summary of findings. Templates are examples only and not a substitute for professional advice.
