This recreational and gym inspection checklist helps staff evaluate equipment safety, team sports supervision, and proper PPE use. It covers pre-use checks for weight equipment and spotters, cleanliness and condition of sports gear, and behavior management in recreational areas. Facility safety items include egress doors and panic bars, ceiling and floor integrity, electrical safety with GFCI and labeled panels, adequate lighting, and housekeeping. It also guides storage of flammables and chemicals with SDS access, restroom upkeep, eyewash availability, pest control, and dryer vent maintenance. Life safety checks include fire extinguishers, alarm and emergency lighting, exit signage, egress maps, CO2 detectors, and Narcan availability.
