KGS Quarterly Village Walkthrough and Safety Inspection
by Daniel Garner, from the Community
This quarterly village walkthrough and safety inspection checklist helps facility teams assess common areas, roads, footpaths, lighting, signage, mailboxes, hydrants, and bollards across the community. Use it to identify trip hazards, overhanging trees, curb and road conditions, visibility of line markings, carpark safety, and general hazards around entrances and shared buildings. Sections cover specific street checks, mailbox areas, pathways, and site signage, with prompts for maintenance issues and WHS compliance. Capture findings, note corrective actions, and sign off to maintain a safe, well-presented village environment.
