HOA Property Landscape Field Inspection

Use this HOA property landscape field inspection checklist to assess the quality of landscape maintenance across your site. Review turf conditions including mowing lines, height, edging, leaf removal, and weed presence (e.g., crabgrass, clover, nutsedge, dandelions). Inspect trees for fresh mulch, sucker removal, edging, canopy clearance, and signs of pests or disease (such as aphids, scale, or bagworm). Check perennial and annual beds for weeds, crisp edges, dead plant removal, correct trimming of shrubs and groundcover, plant vigor, completeness, and mulch quantity and color needs. Capture notes on amenities like entry monuments, parks, amenity centers, and parking areas. Record any dead plant materials by type, size, and location to prioritize remediation and maintain consistent site presentation.
