Schedule of Inspections: Primary Production Operation
by Gregg Reid, from the Community
Schedule of Inspections: Primary Production Operation is a practical template for daily quarry checks. Record site name, date, and weather, then inspect key elements including glory hole, crusher face, surge pile, crests, faces, toes, and access roads. Verify edge protection, signs of cracking or subsidence, water ingress or ponding, loose material, rock traps, potholes and ruts, gradients, and recent slope instability. Capture other observations and note significant changes, then sign off and escalate any issues to the site action plan. Use this checklist to document hazards consistently and maintain safe, compliant operations.
