This CHPP2 MET checklist standardizes daily inspections across coal preparation operations. Verify screening performance (deslime, sink, float, tell tale, tailings dewatering), flotation via Jameson Cells (froth depths, wash water, leaks, stability), spirals and splitters, DMC and tailings/spiral cyclones, magnetic separators, and fine coal dewatering on belt filters. Assess thickener operation for tailings and magnetite circuits, weightometers, vacuum filtration, clarifier, buffer tank trends, and weekly checks.
