This FSG machine audit checklist helps teams systematically inspect mining and heavy equipment for safety, compliance, and operational readiness. Capture the machine identity and photos, confirm RT functionality, verify ROPS/FOPS/OPS cab certifications and (for haulers) tower certification, record service due dates and operating hours, and check shovels, fire extinguishers with expiry, and first aid kit stock. Assess cab cleanliness and visibility, warning lights, hoses and leaks, evidence of daily greasing, handrails, paperwork and logbooks, seatbelts, lights, and required safety stickers. Note any damage, add comments, and complete authorization sign-off.
