This production start up checklist guides operators through a safe cold start after a normal shutdown in a blow molding plant. It covers pre start steps like turning on machine heaters and the chiller, checking and replacing scrap bags, emptying and sanitizing regrind bins, sweeping regrind rooms, and replacing full scrap barrels. It includes maintenance checks such as removing oil soaked pads around extruders and hydraulic motors, inspecting and changing blow off and scrap chute filters, and replacing direct air filters for low pressure, blow off, and blow off assist. The start sequence reminds teams to power on the grinder blower, grinder, vacuum pump, and the vacuum receiver bin before running production.
