This Rush Observation Visit checklist helps quick-service restaurants evaluate readiness and execution during peak periods. Review carry-out cleanliness and customer greetings, phone handling and scripts, a quick OER walkthrough, PRP in chiller and on the makeline, dough proofing and ambient status, sauces and squeezy bottles at ambient, and readiness of boxes, dips, drinks fridges, hot bags, and clean cutters. Confirm GPBs as required, adequate staffing and hustle, effective makeline flow using the pull method, regular restocking, routing and advance packing for drivers, minimal driver wait times, runner use, and MIC awareness of daily targets. Capture product quality photos, verify sides and build accuracy, and enforce sanitation: 20-second handwashing, between-station hygiene, sanitizing workstations during the rush, and floor sweeping. Record MIC feedback to close the loop and drive continuous improvement.
